Located in downtown Norfolk at 316-320 W. Norfolk Avenue, ArtWorks offers a curated gallery, a storefront for creatives, and studio spaces for work and classes.

Gallery Hours
Thursdays and Fridays from noon until 6 p.m.
Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Open late during downtown events

The gallery features more than 20 artists and regularly hosts artist demonstrations on Saturdays. Stop in to shop and meet the artists! Inventory changes frequently, so there’s always something new to discover.

Studio

Our studio space is for studio members and students enrolled in studio classes. Membership offers 24-hour access to professional tools such as kilns and pottery wheels. Our pottery studio is up and running. Next up are metalworking and leatherworking studios! We are building more than a workspace – we’re building a community of creatives that support one another. Join us!

Classes

We are currently offering limited-sized, sequential class lessons in pottery. Register for classes on our ArtWorks site.

Current offerings:

INTRO TO POTTERY WHEEL
Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing with our artists David and Eden!
– 4-week course that meets twice a week
– maximum of 2 students for personalized instruction
– $245 fee includes all materials – clay, glazes, and tools – PLUS 24-hour access to the studio during the class for independent practice!
